Samson Brook South

Samson Brook South is a small batch distillery located on Pindjarup land in the South West Region of Western Australia.

We are locally owned and operated out of our farm in Hamel Western Australia, growing our very own ingredients to give you the freshest hand crafted gin. 

Our Fruit Farm: Growing for the Future

Our organically grown fruits are free from harsh chemicals, pesticides and genetic modification. It is our fruit is grown with love, care and patience. The tree ripened fruit, create a naturally sweeter and richer flavour. 
Our investment in growing high quality Mandarins through our environmentally friendly and ethical practices create a gin that you know loves the earth as much as you love it.

At Samson Brook South, we’re more than just a family farm, we’re a team passionate about bringing the taste of our orchards to your glass. From nurturing citrus trees under the WA sun to handcrafting every bottle of Gin, our work is driven by care, sustainability, and a love of community.

English Garden Spritz

This is Louisas favourite! She loves a fruity floral way of enjoying our gin! You will quite often see her enjoying this with friends on the river at sunset. The elderflower, lime, cucumber flavours are a refreshing. Complimented with the sweet zing of the mandarin gin and a light spritz apple juice and tonic water. An English Garden Spritz is a cool and calm way of winding down a hot summers day.

Green Mandarin Negroni

This one is for you sophisticated people. Our Green Mandarin Negroni is sure to make you the symbol is class at any event you are hosting. This cocktail is particularly enjoyed by Ronan and Craig, as a zesty twist on a staple cocktail. You could find these two chatting sport with a couple of these Negronis in hand. The sewage twist on the traditional citrus flavours is sure to delight your tastebuds, and impress all those you serve it to.

Our History

Our family’s story has been intertwined with Western Australia’s wine and spirits industry for over a century, beginning in 1903 with Peter Alexander Gudgeri. A renowned winemaker and liquor merchant of the colonial era, Gudgeri crafted and sold wines across the state, earning accolades such as the Premier’s Award for Best Wine in 1905.

Those roots extend well beyond Western Australia, with each generation carrying forward a passion for quality and craftsmanship. Today, that legacy continues with us, shaped, informed, and inspired by over 100 years of family tradition in wine and spirits.
